Close idle connection after a specified time in ejabberd 1.1.1

I wanted to know if anybody has an idea if there exists some server settings which looks for idle users and closes the connection by itself if that user remains idle for a specified period of time (for example 1 hr). I am using ejabberd 1.1.1.. Thanx in advance.

Configure keepalive option in your OS.
