Ejabberd with Rails

I have successfully be able to setup ejabberd with orbited. Now I am actually trying to make it work with my Rails application.

Most of the things are fine but I need a way to store the chat conversations. I guess mod_archive_odbc is the way to go for this, but i wanted to store it in a specific manner,(chat_conversation has many chat messages).

What can I use for that?
