Moderated room...

I've got two questions about MUC and eJabberd :

- Do you know how it is possible to install a moderated chat room?
- Do you know a client software that can use this functionnality of JEP-0045 Multi User Chat (How to manage message queueing for moderated room) :
" In handling messages sent by visitors in a moderated room, a MUC service MAY queue each message for approval by a moderator and MAY inform the sender that the message is being held for approval; however, such behavior is OPTIONAL, and definition of a message approval protocol (e.g., using Data Forms as defined in JEP-0004) is out of scope for this JEP."

Regards,

David

It isn't implemented in

It isn't implemented in ejabberd/mod_muc. I'm not aware about implementation in nearest future.

In other Jabber server ?

Do you know if it's implemented in other Jabber server ? If yes, which one ? Thanks a lot.

Check MU-Conference.

Check MU-Conference. It seems to support moderated rooms as you want. You can use that component with any Jabber server, including ejabberd.

still doesn't work

I recently inquired about this "missing feature" on the mailing list. Status as of Nov 2007: still not implemented.

It's annoying that an unimplemented option is presented to users, so I modified the source to hide it and then recompiled. Why the developers didn't do this, I can't say.

Anyway, here is a reference to the "bug" in the tracker.
