Load test multi user chat room in ejabberd

Hi,

I want to load test a lot of users logged in into a single jabber room (multi user chat room).
Are there any load test tools that can help me determine the maximum number of users that a server can support in a jabber room.

Thanks!

I don't know any specific

I don't know any specific one. Maybe Tsung supports something similar.

But anyway, the MUC service is not designed or implemented to support masive numbers of users in the same MUC room. So maybe it doesn't work correctly with more than a few hundreds or thousands of occupants.

Yeah try with tsung. It's

Yeah try with tsung. It's pretty good for benchmarking xmpp.

Does anyone have a tsung

Does anyone have a tsung configuration for XMPP?

Only saw slim pickin's on the net.

Didn't see any ejabber/XMPP

Didn't see any ejabber/XMPP test configuration files for Apache jmeter either.

Also tried jab_sim from this website's download area and while it ran and could get
there, I haven't been able to get non-zero stats on it.

Anyone used jab_sim? (http://www.ejabberd.im/benchmark)

Sorry, I would post a new thread on this but I have been only able to figure out how to reply.

I got tsung up with a couple

I got tsung up with a couple of the xml's floating around the net
for ejabber tests but the outcome seems to lack useful statistics
(rates of connects, rates of data sent on a time-curve, and so forth.)

Does anyone have these in their test output compiled automatically?
