ejabberd - Comments for "ejabberdctl Error"

Hi:

It looks like you folks can use al least ejabberdctl. I can´t use. When I launch eJabberd, I get an Erlang line-command console in my screen. Ok. What else? I´ve written ejjaberdctl commands in different forms and anything happens. It doesn´t even compplains.

Any idea?

thanks mikfire.. i try to add -pa /var/lib/ejabberd/ebin on my ejabberdctl and is working now.. thanks alot

There is another answer. Edit the ejabberdctl script and add this to the command line:
-pa /var/lib/ejabberd/ebin
You can then install the script somewhere in your path and not have to keep the source directory.

OK. Easy fix...

I just had to run ejabberdctl from the /src directory. Works fine now.

Makes me wonder why it even lives in the /tools directory?
