That's only needed if you plan to compile ejabberd, right?

What is the exact error message reported by the ejabberd installer?

When appears that message (at the very beginning, after accepting the license...)?

You installed Erlang using the Windows installer, but what version, what file, from what exact URL did you download the installer?

Have you verified Erlang is correctly installed? It added a shortcut to start an Erlang interpreter. Try to execute it, does it report any error?

Tue, 21 Jun 2005 10:07:51 +0000 mfoss comment 566 at https://www.ejabberd.im
