The number of sessions will be around 100K. What will be the penalty in this case? When will the RAM copies be deleted? Don't they get deleted after the node is stopped? If that is the case does the sync happen every time when the node goes down and comes up?
Tue, 05 Dec 2017 07:36:29 +0000 srikanth.vukkadapu comment 67708 at https://www.ejabberd.im I think the only penalty is https://www.ejabberd.im/forum/29717/clustering#comment-67704
I think the only penalty is caused when joining the cluster, due to table synchronization. So, if that leave&join is rare (every day or few days, and not every hour or few minutes), or at least the amount of sessions is small (only hundreds or thousands, not millions), then there should be no problem.
Mon, 04 Dec 2017 12:09:38 +0000 badlop comment 67704 at https://www.ejabberd.im
