(<noindex><a href="http://www.cygwin.com" title="http://www.cygwin.com" rel="nofollow" >http://www.cygwin.com</a></noindex>) I've had a lot of programs written for Linux / Unix compile on cygwin... It's free so why not? </p> <p>You may have to look for a lot of dependencies that would already be installed in a normal Linux distribution such as Debian. Then again you could always download a copy of Knoppix and give Linux a shot. Even if you plan on running eJabberd on XP, I don't believe the box that does the testing has to be the same. Who knows you might like Linux ;)</p> <p>Rich</p> Thu, 10 Feb 2005 18:25:41 +0000 richmasci comment 192 at https://www.ejabberd.im seems pretty interesting, but https://www.ejabberd.im/node/98#comment-188 <p>seems pretty interesting, but if anyones here knows if it could be use it on winxp it would be great 4 me :)</p> Thu, 10 Feb 2005 16:32:17 +0000 kad comment 188 at https://www.ejabberd.im You might be interested in Be https://www.ejabberd.im/node/98#comment-182 <p>You might be interested in <noindex><a href="/benchmark" rel="nofollow" >Benchmarking Jabber servers with Jabsimul</a></noindex>,<br /> <noindex><a href="/interconnect-erl-nodes" rel="nofollow" >Interconnecting Erlang nodes</a></noindex>, and <noindex><a href="/tuning" rel="nofollow" >Performance tuning</a></noindex>.</p> <p>Note: the benchmarks on the first page does not include e.g. the kernel poll option as mentioned in the third: this should higly improve performance but I don't know it can be used under Windows XP.</p> <p>--<br /> sander</p> Thu, 10 Feb 2005 14:55:43 +0000 sander comment 182 at https://www.ejabberd.im
