Hi Guys,
I am kinda new to the whole personal XMPP server thing and I need a little help to ensure I dont waste a lot of valuable time ! I just need to know if Ejabberd will be the right one for me.
Basically , I use Bitlbee quite a lot, which is a gateway for im services , and I use Mirc for it, but I cant find any xmpp server that'll provide email transport too . This is a quite important to me, so I figured maybe I can create my own , right ?
Then bitlbee will connect to my xmpp , and as long as I have email support locally , then that'll work right ?
Oh and I am using Windows 7 32bit, do I need 64? :/

ejabberd seems a good choice
ejabberd seems a good choice but does not have an email gateway built-in. If you can write your own email gateway (or reuse an existing XMPP / Jabber Component), then I think you are good to go, yes.
