There is an optional pre-approval of subscription feature in the XMPP RFC, but I can't find any info if ejabberd supports it, either out of the box or with some module/plugin.
It would really be helpful since currently I have to have the client automatically return a 'subscribed' stanza if they were the ones sending out the first request, which is not optimal.
Does anyone know what ejabberd supports and/or if there are other solutions to the problem?
