Active Directory LDAP Change Password via mod_register

I have a AD server setup with LDAPS (authenticating the SSL CA cert) and am attempting to change passwords with mod_register.

In the documentation https://www.process-one.net/docs/ejabberd/guide_en.html#modvcardldap it mentions that it can do this if the LDAP server supports RFC 3062. Which googling around I have not really been able to confirm if Microsofts LDAP integration actually supports this or not.

Has anyone had experience with changing passwords in a AD environment using ejabberd?
