i'm totally puzzled, as i had it running in a test just few days ago, but here is the situation:
i installed ejabberd 16.03 on Centos 6.7 machine running on my.domain.com
i changed the certificate to self_signed for domain (domain.com)
i changed the public port 5222 to 5757 and opened it in firewall
i changed the served host from "my.domain.com" to "domain.com"
i can log into web interface with no problem, but can't connect through client...
any ideas?

which client u r using to log on ?
don't you think that it sth related to port configuration on your client app
