I've noticed that the "More information about formatting options" (http://www.ejabberd.im/filter/tips) page seems truncated. I've seen other people posting quotes and link but I can't seem to find the right tags (or any tags). The once listed on the Drupal page aren't working. Are they simply not enabled for me?

You are right, the HTML tags
You are right, the HTML tags filter does not work at all (or works too much, since it disables all tags), so I've disabled it until I can fix the problem. Now all tags are allowed.
