I am using mod_roster_odbc with a minimally modified Process One schema for MySQL, and I am having an issue identical to . New users do not receive presence for any other roster users until each of those roster users disconnect and reconnect. Is it possible that the issue identified in mod_shared_roster_ldap also occurs in mod_roster_odbc?

No, I do not think so. However, are you modifying the roster directly in database ? It could explain your issue, as the user client is not aware of the update.
