I am not sure if i am missing anything but when i access the installation section for windows:

Being in ejabberd\src directory run:
configure.bat
nmake -f Makefile.win32
************
I don't have an src directory under ejabberd. Please help and advise. I have installed:
-Erlang/OTP R10B-1a
-Expat 1.95.7

Are you trying to install
Are you trying to install from source? Or did you used the binary installer? If you used the binary installer, you can skip the instructions to compile ejabberd as it is already compiled for you.

Thanks sander. My bad, i have been able to install ejabberd successfully now from the binaries.
how did you manage to install
how did you manage to install ejabberd through binaries on windows? I can't find the link to the binary installer for windows,the one which I have found on ejabberd.im is for Linux installation.
