Installation problem of ejabberd on debian

Hi,

I have installed jabber server by apt-get install ejabberd and configure with the instructions i got from http://sysmonblog.co.uk/2008/06/ot-installing-ejabberd-on-debian-ubuntu....

but the some issues with starting server, it shows failed to run

localhost:/# /etc/init.d/ejabberd start
Starting jabber server: ejabberd..........................failed

Please help me
