I'm a new to ejabbered and infact new to server technology. I'm working in an industry with LAN connectivity b/w users. I just wanted to run a server with IM facility so as to stay in contact with others located in different departments. The queries I have are as follows:
1. How can I setup the server so that it'll be accessible to intended users?
2. How can they register accounts with server & how can I make my server visible for others?
3. What sort of domains can be hosted i.e my pc is identifiable with ID C1111111(for example). Can I use this ID as domain??
