Hello there,
I have very strange issue. I had installed ejabberd on windows server and it was working fine. It stopped working one day and now I am not able to restart it. I have tried installing many latest versions but now installation is terminated at the end and it gives following error.
and install.log file has following lines at the end

Creating Desktop Shortcut for Stop ejabberd
Executing final installation script
Error executing post installation script
C:\Program Files\ejabberd-16.12\bin\postinstall.cmd
\Access is denied.
Creating Uninstaller

Creating uninstaller 50%
Creating uninstaller 75%
Creating uninstaller 100%
Uninstaller icon changed
Installation completed
Could anyone help please what is wrong here and how can I make it work.

What a strange problem... I
What a strange problem... I can only give some ideas, maybe you already tried them but anyway:
Try to install the same old version that you once installed correctly... maybe newer installers have some change.
Check you are installing the 32bits, or the 64bits, depending on the machine you have.
Before running the installer, make sure erl.exe, werl.exe or any other program related to erlang is not running.
