Is there an event which is associated with ejabberd_auth_sql:check_password ? if not how can i create an event from there so i can hook it up in my custom module ? Or How can i register a new event to be associated with a module function ?

There isn't any specific
There isn't any specific event for that, so you'd have to add it. There are two types of events, the ones that are run and the ones that are run_fold; and their corresponding hooks.Simply look at any two pair of event and hook, and copy their functions.
