I have just installed the binary installer for package 2.0.5 (I know this is an older package but it is required).
I ran the install command (./ejabberd-2.0.5-linux-x86-installer.bin.gz) and I am getting the following errors:
./ejabberd-2.0.5-linux-x86-installer.bin.gz: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'
./ejabberd-2.0.5-linux-x86-installer.bin.gz: line 1: `'
How do I fix this so that I can run the installer?

Disregard topic. I found the problem. When I ran wget I did not have the correct URL and did not receive the proper binary file.
