FreeBSD ejabberd 2.1.8 /usr/local/etc/rc.d/ejabberd stop

Hi, after upgrading to 2.1.8 everything seems to be working fine just when trying to stop using /usr/local/etc/rc.d/ejabberd stop

I get the following error (not happening before)

Stopping ejabberd.
{error_logger,{{2011,6,25},{22,20,26}},"Protocol: ~p: register/listen error: ~p~n",["inet_tcp",eaddrinuse]}

Kernel pid terminated (application_controller) ({application_start_failure,kernel,{shutdown,{kernel,start,[normal,[]]}}})
ejabberd not running?

Any ideas of how to fix this?

"Protocol: ~p:

"Protocol: ~p: register/listen error: ~p~n",["inet_tcp",eaddrinuse]}

"When starting a TCP listener, the address is in use".

It seems as if the script were trying to start ejabberd again, instead of stopping it.
