You didn't provide your version of Ubuntu -- not that it matters because the latest Ubuntu release only includes 2.1.10. You're either going to have to install outside of the apt mechanisms -- which is to say -- following the instructions on this site or you're going to have to use a ppa, such as the one below, which is beyond the scope of this comment.
